Asana & Bodywork

  • Structural Bodywork Puente lo de Marcos Úrsulo Galvan, Nay., 63724 Mexico (map)

This is a new course focused on evolving our skills in working with others.

We will explore a cohesive framework for working with bodies, whether you are a practitioner, a teacher of movement / asana or a bodyworker. We will work with observation skills, analysis of structure, and appropriate touch.

This framework will include an investigation of compression, length, and fascial adhesion.

You will develop and evolve skills in addressing bodies in asana, and will learn fundamental hands-on skills for working with injuries

Core to this study will be learning to feel and addressing restrictions in the fascial net which supports the whole body. This work is based to a significant extent on concepts drawn from Structural Integration (aka ‘Rolfing’).

Space is intentionally limited to give personalized training.
